Who runs this site
This website, kanekramer.com, is run by Kane Kramer, who is responsible for any personal details you give through it. For any question about your details, email show@thebis.org.
Personal details are only collected if you choose to give them
You can read the whole site without saying who you are. Kane only holds personal details that you choose to give:
- Get updates: your email address, and your tick to confirm you would like updates.
- Memoir first edition register: your first and last name, country and email address, an optional title, and your tick to confirm you would like to hear about the release.
- Enquiries: the contact form opens your own email program with your name, email and message filled in. The site does not store anything. If you choose to send the email, it arrives at show@thebis.org like any other email.
How your details are used
Your details are used only to send you the updates or memoir news you asked for, and to reply to you. They are never sold, and they are not shared with anyone except the service providers that run this site and its mailing lists:
- Wix, which hosts the site and stores the sign-ups.
- The email provider for show@thebis.org, which receives enquiry emails.
These providers may store data outside the UK under their own safeguards.
How long details are kept
Your details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for them to be deleted.

- To see the details held about you, correct them or have them deleted, email show@thebis.org.
Details from the sign-up forms are held because you gave your consent by ticking the box, and you can withdraw it at any time. Visitors in the UK are covered by UK GDPR, and visitors in the EU by the EU GDPR. If you are unhappy with how your details are handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
The IXI Quiz
The quiz collects nothing personal. When a player finishes a level, the site adds one anonymous count for that level, with the date. No name, email, age, score or answers are recorded, and the quiz uses no cookies or browser storage of its own. Certificates are made on your own device and only go anywhere if you choose to send or print them.
Visit count
The site adds one anonymous count each time a page is loaded, recording only the date. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing personal is recorded.
Cookies
The site itself stores nothing on your device. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service. Wix, which hosts the site, sets a few cookies of its own to run the site and keep it secure, and records basic technical information about page loads to run its service. The site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch it.

If this policy changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated.
